The tool's Viewer Engine can be easily integrated into an Eclipse application (RCP or web server) and reports may be generated and exported in various formats like HTML, PDF, XLS, PPT or DOC. This training explores the potential of the BIRT technology both in theoretical and practical episodes.

BIRT is fully integrated into TD/OMS. You can create advanced reports with BIRT but you can also utilize BIRT to create reports from your own database. This one day course teaches the fundamentals of BIRT.

Consultancy

Supplying a solution is only the first step. The real benefits will be achieved from a fast and clear "custom-made" implementation.

Minimize your risk with the 5 step  "SMILE"  Implementation Approach

Our mutual target is to deliver a robust Software Change Management system. SMILE is proven, based on best practices and consists of 5 steps.
Each step has its own deliverables with a specific purpose and context, which can be verified, reviewed and approved.

Step 1: Scan

With the Quick Scan, we analyze the methods, processes and tools you use for software development within your organization. Our consultants map both written and unwritten procedures. The outcome of the scan indicates where possible bottlenecks in your Software Life Cycle Process could arise. Furthermore, we indicate how you will be able to solve these bottlenecks. If custom-made jobs are necessary, for example creation of interfaces, we can provide this special software requirements as well.

Step 2: Modelling

Modelling is the pre-implementation phase. We can perform a Proof of Concept (POC) which will show that the solution can meet the requirements of the customer by using a limited set of the customer application.

Step 3: Implementation

Now it comes to the final tuning of the system. All neccessary steps will be taken to deliver a custom made Software Change Management environment. All Users and Administrators will be well trained.

Step 4: Going Life

We deliver an operational environment which can be supported by the customer or by us. After finishing the implementation we offer so-called after care days. The degree at which after care is needed depends upon customer needs and requirements.

Step 5: Evolve

Your company willl change. New activities and new requirements will occur and have impact on the software development process and on the configuration of our solution. The continuity of your developement process is of the highest importance. A regular Health Check is therefore needed to stay tuned and keep competition behind. Also the implementation of new versions and updates of our solution will help your company to anticipate quickly on new demands from your customers. A Service Level Agreement (SLA) will guarantee recources and skills at the moment you need them.
