V5.0 Milestone 3

XREF parallel processing XREF Parallel processing was created to add more speed to the indexing process. Now you can have up to 10 indexing jobs running in parallel.

Xref with FTP, SFTP, SMB If your sources are not located in a repository then an Xref location can now be provisioned using a file transfer mechanisms such as SFTP and SMB (Windows share). The location type 'Files' will accomodate the file transfer protocol FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SMB and FILE (local file copy).

Xref with sources on an IBMi IASP If you have a source library that is located on the IBMi and stored on an IASP (independent auxiliary storage pool) then Xref can access these libraries by providing the fully qualified location of a source library, see example below.

Parallel checkout Xref locations Previously the checkout of Xref locations would be run sequentially which slowed down the overall Xref indexing process if a location had a very large set of sources. By submitting multiple checkout jobs to run parallel there is minimal blocking in the case of long running checkout jobs.

Item links counter Now, clicking an item will also reveal its links total at a spot

Browser link menu Right click an item dropdown link to get the browser local menu where more handy options are available

Hide the "Report a Gravity bug" button Through configuration, you can now opt for hiding the "Report a Gravity Bug" button situated at the landing page footer.

Choice to configure the main menu Now, you have full control over who may access which section of the web site by configuring main menu access.

Login form improved and made configurable Now, you can hide all links at the bottom of the login form. Or make them behave differently. E.g., redirecting the sign-up link to a custom LDAP server. Or showing an in-place message.

LDAP group assign With the LDAP group assign functionality it is possible to automatically add a user to a Gravity group based on a set LDAP group (of which the LDAP user must be a member of).

Xref find with exact match With the exact or exact match option a search is enhanced to overcome limitations imposed by certain special characters in the text being searched, i.e. the find with exact will attempt to find the text as is including any special characters.

Xref now group based An Xref group contains 1 or more locations. A group can be created, renamed or deleted from the Xref Configuration view. An Xref group can be selected when running the Advanced Xref wizard or when defining an Xref query definition.
