Setup the TD/OMS Kanban Backend
The available providers in your Kanban board depend on your TD/OMS backend settings.
To avoid a mess, the following rules are followed.
- A Kanban Board is calculated from the Release field in the Task.
- A list of all unique releases is fetched based on this field.
- An application must have a release code set (Use the STRAD command).
- If the release is not set, then the applications' tasks are not visible in the Kanban. To see something, enter a release code in the application.
- A Kanban Board equals all tasks with the same Release.
- However, a release board is not visible if it does not contain at least one open task.
- Use the command STRAD to add a release number to an application
- Use the GUI or the STRFM command to assign a release to a Task
A release number can be something like V15M02 or SPRINT2 or whatever you use to group.
