When upgrading the Gravity Server then there are occasions when a post upgrade step needs to be performed. A post upgrade step will be required for the following situations:

Search Engine Update

Under certain circumstances it will be required to rebuild the Gravity search index. This will be necessary when the search engine meta-data has been changed (item search fields update, added or removed) or on a major upgrade of the search engine itself. If the search index needs to be rebuilt then this will be indicated as such in the notes accompanying the release.
