Object Compile Maintenance

The Object Compile Maintenance function enables us to work with the Create command group of a specific object. We can work with all create command groups and you can copy or delete them. Users belonging to the user class *SECOFR, *SECADM, or the TD/OMS manager (group) are allowed to use this function.

Work with the Object Compile

This screen displays a list of all the existing create command groups from create object command selection file. You can use the option field to maintain these create command groups.

The records highlighted in red signify their non-existence in the object database. If you wish, you may choose the option to delete these records.

Selection

Use this field to specify the records you want to display in the list. The special values are:

'0' or *All
Use this option to display all the records.
'1' or *AUTHORIZED
Use this option to display only the authorized records.
'2' or *UNAUTHORIZED
Use this option to display only the unauthorized records.

Filter

The Filter prompt allows for quick filtering of the list.

Option

Use this column to perform different operations on individual entries.

1=Authorize
Use this option to authorize the create command group.
3=Copy
Use this option to copy a create command group.
4=Delete
Use this option to delete a create command group.
5=Display
Use this option to display the information about the create command group.
12=Details
This option allows you to maintain the details of the create command group.
50=Object
Show the information about the object.

Maintain Object Compile

The Maintain Object Compile display shows information and allows actions depending on the option chosen on the previous display. The chosen action on the previous display is shown on line three. The following modes can be activated:

*Authorize
You can authorize the create command group.
*Copy
You can copy the create command group including details.
*Delete
You can delete the create command group including details
*Display
You can display the create command group.

Object

Specify the object code. A blank value is not allowed.

Object type

Specify the object type. A blank value is not allowed.

Detail code

Specify the name of the source member. A blank value is allowed.

Application code

Specify the application code. The possible values are:

*All
Specify the application code to *ALL, It is valid for all applications.
Application-Code
Specify the name of the application code.

Environment code

Specify the environment code. The possible values are:

*All
Specify the environment code to *ALL, It is valid for all environments.
Environment-Code
Specify the name of the environment code.

Object library

Specify the object library. The possible values are:

*All
Specify the object library to *ALL, It is valid for all object libraries.
Object library
Specify the name of the object library.

Command Start Object Compile Maintenance (STROCM)

This menu command starts the object compile maintenance function. Refer to the description of the function object compile maintenance for a detailed description. 

STROCM

This command has no parameters.
