TD/OMS V17 Milestone 3 introduces several key updates, including enhanced compile error visualization, improved transfer and log history management in both VSCode and Web, and new features in the OCTO Transfer Wizard. The release also adds powerful tools like the Component Editor Plugin, Comment Management for tasks, and the ability to store search terms for reuse, streamlining the user experience.
The compile result view now dynamically updates to reflect the selected source tab, ensuring that the displayed compile results correspond to the active source.
Functionality has been implemented to hold a job during the transfer process based on user selection. If the ‘hold’ option is selected, the system will now hold the job accordingly.
Enhancements were made to the REST API and Managed Deployment System to improve deployment and transfer operations. Key updates include the addition of a cancel method in the Transfer REST API for cleaning up temporary records, the inclusion of a progress path and job description details in the Transfer API, and logic to hold jobs based on selection during transfer. Integration with Import/Export TD/OMS was implemented, along with the introduction of the OMQCHGRJ API to support closing and reopening remote transfers.
