To learn more about the specific enhancements and how they can benefit your organization, explore the detailed breakdown below.
VSCode & Octo Web
OCTO’s Ai MCP Factory
The brand new Octo Ai MCP Dashboard lets you convert any OpenAPI file (yes, any, including your own) into a fully fledged MCP server. API endpoints are automatically transformed into MCP tools, ready for immediate use in VS Code, IBM Bob and Antigravity. Generate the MCP server and manage its tools from one central dashboard. No setup, no glue code. If you have OpenAPI, Octo makes it work with Ai. (Bonus: After activation, you get the TD/OMS MCP Servers fully integrated with VSCode and Bob)
BitBucket Server Integration
OCTO interfaces with BitBucket (on-premise servers). Users can view, filter, and link pull requests to TD/OMS tasks, similar to existing tracker plugin integrations.
Freshservice Integration
OCTO also interfaces with Freshservice , the ticketing system from Freshworks. Tickets can be viewed, filtered and linked to TD/OMS tasks similar to the other interfaces that the tracker plugin supports in OCTO. Jira, and Gravity were already supported.
Add programmer to components view and object history
The programmer information has been added to the Object History tab of the Component Editor and the Components views.
Remote Job Monitor Enhancements for Managed and Traditional Deployments
The Remote Job Monitor has been enhanced to improve usability and operational efficiency for both Managed and Traditional deployments.
Key Improvements
- Automatic Detection: Added automatic detection for Managed and Traditional deployments with dynamic menu displays based on job type and status.
- Bulk Operations: Introduced multi-select functionality to support batch processing of jobs.
- Enhanced Closure: Updated the close operation to allow for both single and multiple job closures simultaneously.
Freshservice Implementation
Now OCTO interfaces with Freshservice , the ticketing system from Freshworks. Tickets can be viewed, filtered and linked to TD/OMS tasks similar to the other interfaces that the tracker plugin supports in OCTO.

Git
We are preparing for a Git interface rebuild and we now ship the first integretion command BLDIFSOMS which can be hooked into CTRL+E in VSCode to upload, attach and compile sources from Git. The previous version of the Git interface was centered around RDi. The new version will be IDE agnostic so that it can be integrated in any IDE or DevOps pipeline.

Managed Deployment Maintenance – Sched Date issue when Format is not *DMY.
Logic was converting all dates to DMY. As of now, dates are converted based on the job date format.
OMQRTVSE – Reference Library List Sequence Issue.
Special values *FIRST and *LAST were changed to resolve to -1 and -2 respectively.
Processes calling the API using special values *FIRST or *LAST were updated accordingly to stay in sync with this change
