Helpdesk and Ticketing Systems

The integration provides an easy access to view the linked tasks/requests under your issues or to pull requests in TD/OMS or within your Git application. 

RDi and TD/OMS are seamlessly integrated. A TD/OMS perspective is available with all of its related views. Additionally, the RSE view will be enhanced with a TD/OMS node. Developers who are used to working in RDi will fully enjoy working in the streamlined development environment, boosting productivity, and resulting in a more stable and secure change-management process. 

The TD/OMS and IBM Rational Team Concert interface provides additional control over the collaborative part of the software development process. TD/OMS fully controls the build process; RTC is responsible for the collaboration. The integration provides an intuitive process to create issues and/or stories in RTC and their assignment to a developer within TD/OMS.

Third-Party Interfaces

4GL Support

The TD/OMS CA Plex interface enables you to manage important information such as incidents, change requests and tasks. The CA Plex TD/OMS interface works for all your CA Plex software components — native iOS and PC components.

The CA2E interface supports work in the CA workbench and, when needed, access to the functionality in TD/OMS. The 2E object registration and management is supported on the local side of a TD/OMS installation.

The TD/OMS module TimeFlash is an interface for the third-party software MIMIX Promoter (Syncsort), also offered by our team. TimeFlash supports the change management of large data files in a live (production) environment. The TimeFlash module streamlines and speeds up the software change process significantly, decreases downtime caused by updating data files, and reduces the amount of time needed for deployment.

 


Universal Language Support


TD/OMS supports universal languages. This means that languages that require 2 bytes for each character are also supported. These languages are also known as DBCS (Double Byte Character Set) languages. TD/OMS is using graphical character fields for descriptive fields to enable this support.

In addition to support for entering information in any language, TD/OMS supports the translation of the screen labels, messages and help text into any language. TD/OMS is currently available in English and Japanese. The help text is identical to the text available on the Remain wiki, as this text is used as input for creating the context-sensitive help text in the TD/OMS client.
